Our story
The Surrey-Williamson Inn is a century-old manor and boutique inn on Skidmore College’s campus in the heart of Saratoga Springs, New York, known for its charming history and creative hospitality. Nestled into a natural landscape, the Surrey is close enough to the art, culture and dining destinations of our beloved small city, but in a setting that ensures an easy, relaxing stay.

Our newly renovated guest rooms boast all the charm and character you would expect from a historic 19th-century inn. Plus, we offer private gardens, antique furnishings, access to Skidmore's beloved hiking trails, gorgeous campus and more.

Built in 1918 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Surrey was originally built as a private home. And as each visitor walks through our doors, our story continues.

Intimate weddings, corporate retreats or a long overdue reunion — each of our spaces has played host to special, and strategic, moments in our guests lives.
